Are you working on a fantasy or historically-inspired story? Want to talk over the details of your world with me? I’m good at helping to craft fictional cultures and settings, I can often suggest further reading and research you might want to do, and I can help you sort out how much background you need to develop in order to tell your story. Is this only for the pre-writing stage? Not at all. I think we could have these conversations at any stage of the process. I tend to do a kind of just-in-time world building myself, and I don’t necessarily advocate spending a ton of time developing your setting before you start writing your story.
